Feeling Sick Before Herpes Outbreak

BLOG ON JOURNAL

Una delle tante cose che mi hanno contestato in questi anni è stato il fatto di aver scritto per Hacker Journal , tutto sommato neanche poco. Li conto. In tutto 11 articoli ( http://www.dvara.net/hk/hk-writes/archive.asp ). Niente male direi! Quella mail published in full, and it was not even very short ... The number 11 Hacker Journal, and it was amazing. I did not expect anything like that. But I was not sorry. Better to reflect on all that content! And here's what I wrote:

HK stands for Hacker Kulture. I call it the site of the hacker culture, a sort of grand and impressive virtual library on the history, philosophy, ethics, and even poetry and art hacker! By its very nature, the site is under perpetual construction. Well to be updated constantly and we are now only two. What I want to make it clear through HK is that the technique is so important because it allows you to better express your ideas but the ideas ... not gained through the techniques! The network is full of techniques ... I think it's time to go over, especially these days, even a little hacker ideology, the purpose of hacking, the hacker spirit.

Steven Levy writes: The hacker ... []..." practice the free-wheeling intellectual exploration of the highest and deepest potential of computer systems, or decision to make access to information as more free and open as possible. This includes the heartfelt conviction that computers can find the beauty, the aesthetic form of a perfect plan to release the mind and spirit. "

If you only know the technique you can change a computer system; if you are also ideologically a hacker then you can also change the world ... or otherwise attempt! In any event improve yourself! Access to all information is good, provided that it is excluded, no! Tighten firmly in the palm of your hand all knowledge is good, as long as this does not make you feel powerful selfish! The risk is now more than ever, to overturn what has become, technically speaking, to put it in the service of his ego, or worse, an unfair system. And therefore the need to "never forget" the need to "remember"! It is not the technique that makes you a "hacker" but the "mindset" and ethics!

Prorpio ES Raymond, addressing the question of the hacker, wrote: "Hackers solve problems and build things, believe in freedom and voluntary mutual help. To be accepted as a hacker, you have to behave as if I had this attitude in the blood. And to behave as if I had this attitude in your blood, you really believe in your behavior. If you think about cultivating an attitude of hacker just to be accepted in the hacker-culture, you did not understand. Becoming the kind of person who believes these things is important for you to help you learn and be motivated. As with all creative arts, the most effective way to become a master is to imitate the mindset of teachers - not only intellectually but also emotionally. "

Then there was great to run the magazine. He was to publish the email but I just wanted to provoke them. And it was he asking me, then, to write some articles for Hacker Journal. I thought a bit and I decided that I would. I was devoted with all his soul to create an archive hackers because I wanted everyone to know, especially those who did not know. Let all learn what I had learned with astonishment over the years. I felt that I improved. I wanted it a little better even more. Presumption? do not know ... I wanted to what I received. For me this was to share. One of the many forms of sharing.

The magazine would give me the chance to express myself outside of the network. Hacker Kulture to know ... and this was important for me. At that time, all bought Hacker Journal, all all all and not just the kids freak, a little trolls and lamers, as many would like or want to believe. Thanks to Hacker Journal I, for example, I met people of a certain thickness, which for years people in their own way, deal with hackers. These people, thanks to Hacker Journal, who knew Hacker Kulture.

Yes, because those who had no prejudices, and was very curious, could not help but wonder, what would become Hacker Journal. It was a new phenomenon, to be examined, and intelligent eyes were fixed on the magazine. I was hoping to become a good thing, and not just hoping. I also tried to give my contribution and many have appreciated. But others say I should be ashamed. I wrote to Hacker Journal and I do not do honor. Sorry. I am not ashamed. I have not written for the Journal but on Hacker Hacker Journal, I wrote for myself and for those who read me. This is important. Do not think I fouled, to be contradicted or failed to My proprositi writing what I think, spreading what everyone should know.

Was there a better place to read a newspaper a lot of kids freak in which to spread a little ethical hacker, or at least try? Said in a simple, clear language and smoothly intellectualising? Or certain issues and certain issues are only men faced, and only in certain circles healthy and omniscient, perfect and consistent, uniform? And then there maybe some things you do not already know?

E 'hateful talk on him. E 'odious claim to want to make the world better and then stay locked in their own enclosure, be careful not to defile himself. Talking, expressing, in your face only reassuring but limited space. The world needs to be addressed at the point where it seems worse or if you want to improve it. Start from the bottom and low then rise, and melt away from this jumble of languages \u200b\u200band words difficult to understand, either directly, speaking as mother earth, especially to understand even to those who have the means to understand, without providing the means to stay in the chair, reach people, that lying in the shade, charming charmless charm ... it is difficult to change and make change.

And, mind you, I'm not a purist. I like to wander. Talk to everyone. Also compared with those who are different from me or who does not esteem. But if the comparison is productive, of course. Cause peacefully and creatively. Being in a relationship. I like the mud and contamination, I hate the white robes and thrones. I love the neighborhoods, the city is high icy, not beats. A world without errors is dry. A country can accept my imperfect contributions. If you accept them, even beat me, I live and I participate, I leave my mark ... Not everyone will understand, I know. But try to renew the house of God and then tell me if it exists as architects.

Many have wanted to see HK and HJ, say, twin. Not so! That the two symbols in some way similar to a case and is only HK cmq existed long before the HJ. HJ hosting my articles in the "Hacker Culture". Perhaps that section was created for my articles. Who knows! I had total freedom. I could say what I wanted and especially as I wanted. I have never cut or twisted pieces of content. If the article was too long posted it on two numbers. What I wrote for HJ could also spread elsewhere. And so I spoke of the Demo Scene that is so dear to me and few people know what it is. I spoke of Epidemic and viruses as an art form and nobody almost among young readers knew who they were. I talked to netstrike when there was no talk of netstrike maybe more. And so the son was happy and Epidemic Tommaso Tozzi also thanked me. The people I met in chat was fascinated, I asked for information and links. She was surprised. Most of these things, he had never heard of. Too young maybe ... But now he wanted to know more and this undoubtedly was a victory. As for defects

Hacker Journal, there were probably too many, and certainly were not to be identified with the pirate skull and symbols that mark the covers still, I think. Imagine. Captain Harlock was my idol as a child. I understood little then, but here in some way, its message has arrived, hath been deposited in some part of my body and re-emerged at the right time. The graphics also is a personal and subjective. Has little to do with the substance at times. A Hacker's Journal that I liked. The important thing however is that the authors, much to the least, they had value and they also readers, without distinction.

On other magazines, national newspapers, they take you to the article, and with the excuse that they pay you, I'll break down, dissect, reconstruct it to reread it hard to believe that you wrote. Your name does not appear anywhere, but you are forced to sign two pieces that talk about copyright, litigation costs in case of written and other menate crap like that. What is left of your article you can not spread it in any way, but they can do whatever they want. In short, the author does not count, much less his vision and his ideas. I assure you ... Hacker Journal was not, then, the worst of evils. Today, I can not tell. Do not follow him anymore since he went grand on. Some years, I think.

The thing that amused me on Hacker Journal, was read emails signed by nick-known and familiar to the network being very hard lives a little bit everywhere. I then lived and many more. By night and day. Everywhere. And I recognized several. It was as if a part of the network was enacted in part out of it and materialized on paper. That network may be less interesting, a bit snubbed by the educated and hacktivists standing. The most confusing and talkative, the one that talks about a free ride or mythologized, those who believe in idols and believes that the character he plays. What does disturb or damage, the one that poses because it uses telnet, what breaks and why he strarompe linux installed and does not know how to operate the keyboard, the one who does not know and do not even know to analyze, investigate, that is a little curious or think it sold out their own curiosity ... Real People, in short, for someone anyone. But that network was, and wanted to be there. With his voice sometimes raucous, sometimes incomprehensible, sometimes superficial, sometimes grinning and trolleggiante. Often, perhaps even unnecessary, air in the wind, breath wasted. But all this was interesting all the same, something a little curious. Fascinating. But I am curious as well and maybe then I could see what was not there.

seemed that sooner or later something happens. Explosion. I waited but to no avail. It also if nothing happened - now I can say - it was fun. Also useful, I think. Above all, I hope.
